Yasuhiro Morimoto

Yasuhiro Morimoto graduated as MD from Yamaguchi University (Japan) in 1988. He studied ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia since 2006 at Yamaguchi University Medical Hospital. In 2007, he received Investigator’s Award of Japan Society of Anesthesiologists for his research on EEG monitoring during general anesthesia. His main interests are in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve block techniques for orthopedic surgery including TKA and ACL reconstruction. He organised the 24th annual meeting of Japan society of intravenous anesthesia as a president.
